Meet Fred Wellman
A lifetime of service. A fighter for Missouri.
Fred Wellman has spent his life answering the call to serve.
Inspired by generations of military service in his family, Fred graduated from West Point, became an Army aviator, and served during Desert Storm before completing three tours in Iraq.
His life has also been shaped by profound personal loss. After his wife was killed in a car accident while seven months pregnant, Fred rebuilt his life through service. He fought for veterans, helped lead a COVID field hospital, organized aid for refugees, and continued finding ways to give back to the communities that shaped him.
Now he's running for Congress because too many Missourians feel like Washington has forgotten them.
While career politicians enrich themselves and put special interests ahead of working families, Fred is focused on lowering costs, protecting health care, defending the Constitution, and making government work for the people it serves.
He's not running to become another politician. He's running because Missouri deserves a representative who understands sacrifice, shows up, and never stops fighting.
Missourians deserve a fair shot at a good life. That starts with affordable healthcare, lower costs, and the freedom to build a secure future. Every family should be able to see a doctor when they are sick, afford the medicine they need, and keep a roof over their heads without being buried in debt.
